Common questions
Pricing, Quotes and Offers
What does '$65 off your first service' cover?
It applies as a straight discount on your first job with us, taken off the invoice once the work is done. There's no catch and nothing excluded, it comes straight off whatever you've booked in.
What does 'from $89' actually include?
Blocked drains start from $89 for straightforward jobs, like a single fixture clog we can clear with a standard drain machine. We confirm the price on site before any work begins, so you know exactly what it costs before we start.
What discounts do you offer?
Beyond $65 off your first service, our current offers include a complimentary CCTV check with any jet blast, a plumbing check-over thrown in on jobs worth $200 or more, a premium garden tap fitted at no charge when a paid job is finished, and 20% off for seniors.
How does your upfront fixed pricing work?
Our plumber assesses the job on arrival and locks in one price before touching a tool. Whether the fix takes twenty minutes or runs into the afternoon, that price doesn't move.
Common questions
Licensed, Insured and Done Properly
Do wipes really block drains?
Yes, and they are one of the biggest causes of blockages we see. So-called flushable wipes don't actually break down, and once one catches on a rough patch inside the pipe, more debris piles up behind it until nothing gets past.
What is your lifetime labour warranty?
Every job we do carries a lifetime labour warranty. If our workmanship fails down the track, we come back and fix it at no cost, no conditions attached.
Can I clear a blocked drain myself?
A plunger handles plenty of simple kitchen and bathroom clogs, and boiling water poured straight down the drain often does the same job. Once it's the pipework itself at fault, NSW law calls for a licensed plumber, so give us a ring if the basics haven't worked.
What standards does drainage work follow?
All our drainage work follows the AS/NZS 3500 plumbing standards, the benchmark for how drainage and waste systems are installed and repaired across Australia. It's part of what a licensed plumber signs up to on every job.
Common questions
When We Can Come
How do I book?
Call us directly and we'll get you sorted over the phone, often with someone on the way the same day. You can also send your details through the contact form for a callback.
What counts as a drain emergency?
We treat sewage backing up inside the house, a yard gully overflowing, or several fixtures blocking at the same time as genuine emergencies. Any of those, ring us straight away.
What happens after I call?
A real person talks it through with you and locks in a time, usually the same day. Once we're on site, you get a firm price confirmed before any work starts.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
We're on call 24/7, including weekends and public holidays, with no difference in how we quote from one day to the next. A blocked drain doesn't clock off at five, so we don't either.
Common questions
Local to Beecroft
Summer storms are known to surcharge the older drains around the Devlins Creek corridor, so plenty of our local calls follow the rain.
Why do Beecroft's older homes get blocked drains?
Much of Beecroft was built out as Federation homes between 1900 and 1920, laid with early clay and earthenware drainage that has had over a century of ground movement to crack and shift. Mature trees along those same heritage streets send roots straight into the joints.
How local are you, really?
We're regularly on site somewhere around the village, from The Beecroft Club to the streets off the local school run. That's alongside Pennant Hills, Epping, Carlingford, Normanhurst and Thornleigh.
Do you handle strata and units?
Yes. The newer units clustered near the station bring their own shared-line issues, like one blocked run affecting more than one unit's plumbing at once. We diagnose those the same way we would a house.
Can you handle new builds and renovations here?
New builds with modern PVC drainage and older homes mid-renovation both come through our books regularly. Renovations on the suburb's older stock often turn up original pipework that's due an upgrade, and we flag that before you tile over it.
